What a great article from a year and a half ago that vaguely states construction might start in 2018 or early 2019 if they get more permits.

Show me something in the last year that indicates they are still on track to build a second span. Everything people have said in this thread indicates a very small chance it ever gets done. He can build it for all I care, but back yourself up with some information
