I know your just kidding me ? You really don't get the inference ?
The inference was that he was a woman. I wanted to hear Dan's explanation because it wasn't funny.

I posted the explanation briefly then deleted it. I'm sure it'll be figured out soon enough.
    I saw it.

Shouldn't the thread title be: How Long Will This Second Republican Depression Last" ?

You got to give the Repubs credit, they sure know how to create a depression.

I remember thinking during the campaigns last fall, that if Obama won, that the RW would quickly shift the blame for all the nation's problems onto him and the Democrats, and if McCain won, they would blame the Democratic majority in Congress since '07. This despite the fact that the GOP senators filbustered, or Bush vetoed almost every piece of legislation initiated by the Dems. Republicans can do no wrong, obviously, despite having control of the Oval Office for most of the past 40 years, and a Republican had been POTUS for at least the start of every US recession, and Bush had not just one, but two. Maybe they should be called "Republicessions"

I consider President Obama to be a watered down Republican at this point, so I will lump him in with the other Republicans who got this Depression started.

I always thought of Clinton as Republican Light. He sure was no liberal, especially concerning NAFTA.

Obama is pretty moderate as well, despite what the far right tells you.

Bill Clinton is a Neo - Conservative, and followed in Reagan and Thatchers economic footsteps. So I agree with you on him also. I find President Obama to be a "moderate" Republican. We will see soon enough if he is another Neo - Conservative in sheep's clothing.

Boy, the long knives are out for Obama!!

You fascists need to sulk away in shame, bury your heads in the sand, and let the adults handle things from here, just as Obama has proven in such a short time in office.

After 8 years of death and destruction, rape of the national treasury, lies, criminal acts by the Bush Crime Family, I think I've had enough of playing nice with these socially retarded knuckledragging bitch trogs.

You can take your Knute GinGrinch, Saracuda Failin, Slush Grimball and the rest and shove them up your behinds.

There isn't one thing you can say the Bush Crime Family did that benefitted America, save perhaps leaving office.

And if you neanderthal repugnicans think you're sick of seeing Obama's face so much lately, well, get used to it or turn off the TV.

I'm sick of seeing that fat troll Prick Cheney and that Kitchenwitch daughter of his every evening on the news flogging the dead legacy pony.

Cheney escaped prison, left office, and has a BILLION bucks safely socked away in offshore banks, thanks to no-bid contracts with Halliburton, an arab contracting/oil company he once headed.

And he wants us to forgive him too??? He can go f*ck himself.

ah, yes, someone so mired in objectivism that he can't see out of it. A maggot living all its life in a dung pile doesn't see shit

You have no idea what objectivism is Rb...think of it as syllogistic logic applied to the real world. You are referring to Rand's other political ideologies that are arrived at via the use of objectivist logic, not the logic itself.

In other words, you are showing your profound ignorance....again, Peikhoff's book is very dry, but spells out what objectivism is. You should read it so that you don't make a fool of yourself when speaking of something that you have zero knowledge of.

considering your total lack of understanding/total misuse of syllogism [[as demonstrated in numerous posts) i think you have little to discuss here. I have read objectivist drivel, was, as a child, taken in by it, but have now moved beyond such childish things. There are elements of basic humanistic thought in objectivism that are correct, but they are much better portrayed in their own light rather than through the lenses of that shrew and her brainwashed followers.

the phrase "objectivist logic" is such an oxymoron

Isn't everyone sick of seeing his face on tv all the time and hearing his BS on the radio.

He is either a narcissistic megalomaniac or is just so brainwashed that he believes his own lies, or lies to get his socialist agenda through saying it will help the US.
Let me guess... you were in a coma the last 8 years??

Knowing you recommend it, means it must be a giant bag of gassy fascist tripe.

I don't have enough time in my life to devote to reading the kind of drivel I can get by listening to Joe Scarborough for an hour.

Rb...you are plain lying regarding your background with objectivism. You read her fiction as a youth, and that is it.

The proof is in your lack of a grasp on the basic principles, and it is proof positive that you are either lying, or do not comprehend the material.

considering that I corrected YOU on the subject at least once in the old forum, that is funny [[you claimed she never stated something, I gave the chapter and verse where she did. oddly, you never posted to that thread again)

You will have to be far more specific as I have no idea what you are referring to.

I suspect you will not do so, as you know I will take you apart when you try [[as I always do).

knowing how you and rb336 go at it on thread after thread my only response to that statement is that I must be operating under an alternate reality than you

That, I don't quite see that last sentence the way you do.

But anyway in the grand scheme of things thats not that important.

What is important is why didn't you give POTUS Obama credit for wanting to make paygo into law. One of the reasons Bush was able to run up the deficit like he did was because paygo rules had lapse in the house and got watered down in the senate.

Just like that socialist, communist, marxist [[insert your own un-american term) Obama to insist on fiscal responsiblity.

Paygo is a great concept...sham paygo where he, and the obscene spending that led the polls to tell him to put out this straw dog of an argument which is so hypocritical as to fool nobody [[well, except Firstandten) is simply more deception on Obama's part.
