It's a solid plan overall. If they can actually stick to these frequency levels then I can see myself using DDOT a lot more. Maintaining reliability will be a challenge, but I'm hopeful they can do it with the legislature boosting operating funding.
I know the Tier-1 "BRT" lines won't be true gold-standard BRT, but just getting transit lanes on corridors like Woodward, Grand River, and Gratiot will be a huge step forward.
Passenger safety is another main factor in making DDOT a much more desirable mode of alternative transportation.
^ For certain! It's not a good time to be a captive audience to impulsive violence and other undesirable behaviors.
When I see more improvements on D-DOT and I will believe it.
