Sumas, yes I remember Dishonest John's. Never liked his place or him. He's a serious example of ego-mania. Too bad, because he had a great clientele and employees before running everone out of the joint.

You don't enjoy his unique combination of being ignorant and overly opinionated? How is that not charming?
K1-Abruzizi , i think. He is Italian.
1K- Did you work on E.Warren?
No. I knew Grzanka, Potenga and Abbruzzi or Abruzzizi from bars and restaurants we frequented, all over the city, including their joints. Abruzzi used metal walkers, didn't he? The type of walkers that wrap around the forearm or biceps? I seem to remember him as a polio victim. My father had a business associate, an accountant, who had the same situation. He used metal walker/crutches. He had a huge, muscular, upper body but his legs weren't entirely useful. Oddly enough, he played a mean piano - at Anderson's Gardens on Cass. If you know more of the story of their falling out and you'd care to reveal it, I'd love to hear about it. I don't seem to remember that chapter.
1k-yes , they were the metal walker type.
As for the rest of the story. I cannot post it on the forum site.
