Couple restores 100+ year old house in Boston-Edison

I found the article about the couple saving the husband's great grandparent's house very inspiring. It inspired me to seek out and visit my great grandparent's house in Detroit on Euclid. It was a nice day on Tuesday. After a quick call to my Mom to get the address, I picked up my camera, so off I set in my shined shoes and work clothes. I put the pictures up on Facebook, and set it to public, so maybe everyone will be able to see them. I only stepped on one rusty nail which it did not go all the way through the shoe. Not exactly standard Urbex gear.

I don't have the money to save this house. It give me a melancholy feeling wandering through the growing ruination. I commented on the pictures.

Other people should find their lost Detroit homes, even if they are just a dirt lot and post the pictures. Let's all find our roots. Even if we cannot properly save them.
