Hard to get work done when you're trying your best to stay out of trouble. Clinton had a similar problem during his second term.

He is a face, there is a lot going on behind the scenes and things are getting accomplished but those obsessed with thier mother country Russia and implementing a socialist agenda,do not see beyond that.

Lets see what was accomplished in the last 8 years.

The infrastructure is on its way of being rebuilt.
The inner city schools system is in stellar shape.
The skills training programs are years ahead of schedule.
The manufacturing base is now in a position to be able to compete worldwide based on a fair playing field in the trade markets.
The prison reform has been in place.
Mass transit has increased dramatically and rail in general has an improved safety wise.

Funny how none of the above applies or has happened.

Just a few listed but other then a massive transfer of wealth from the middle up and ramming a pipeline through the center of the country so another country can make more money what exactly was accomplished in the last 8 years that has improved the daily life of every US citizen?

    Such as...?

    Honest question.

[[Yes, I'm aware of him killing the TPP and stepping up illegal immigration enforcement, but what else?)

Well the illegal inforcement aspect was actually going strong and ramped up under the Obama administration,so far under president Trump it has just become more vocal verses being kept under the radar as before.

So on that aspect one just needs to decide weather they prefer knowing what is going on or preferring to be kept in the dark about it.

They are working on a broken immigration system which should have been a point 20 years ago.

They killed the neighborhood program that forced diversification of neighborhoods and regulated who can live where.

Trump has pushed for and they are working on a privately funded apprenticeship program where people going to collage or in a trades program can actually work as an apprentice in the field while they are studying.

So when they graduate they not only have a piece of paper but also actual hands on experience and if not an immediate job in the field of study extremely good odds at getting one in the shortest amount of time.

Notice I said privately funded and not taxpayer funded,I would guess that the contributors will most likely receive some kind of tax credits based on performance.

Which to me anyways if it gets somebody out of collage and to work without massive debt and helps build a stronger workforce then it is taxpayer monies well spent or invested.

The whole revamping of the education system needs to include training programs which is also gives people the skills needed to be able to realize their little piece of the American dream.

You cannot as a country buy your way out of poverty but you can help provide the tools and that is the direction that it is going in.

It has only been how many months, but everything I have mentioned directly effects people on a personal level in their daily life.

I guess the best thing the left can do is keep the distractions going because while they are doing that they are leaving everybody else alone to do thier jobs.

Keep watching my right hand while you forget about my left.

Like it or not he is the president which in turn leaves two choices, either spend all the time and energy fighting it or spend the same time and energy useing it to improve the local condition or figure it out how to make it work best.

It does not matter who is president ,two things that will never happen in this country will be a dictatorship or a socialist based system.

Well first, it's a complete myth that Obama was tough on immigration if you're simply basing it on the number of deportations, simply because of the odd criteria ICE uses [[those who are turned away at the border are now technically considered "deported"). Obama didn't actually have organized raids occurring.

    http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-...402-story.html

BTW, I support the increased illegal immigration enforcement. It should go even further in fact.

    1. Mandate every company to use e-Verify. If a company chooses not to participate, they will be forced to pay steep fines and/or a steep penalty tax.

    2. Actively conduct audits and follow-ups of businesses who are found to violate e-Verify. If during the audit they're not compliant, the punish should range from more steep fines to forfeiture of their assets and even sending those who conspired in hiring illegal immigrants to trial to potentially face a jail sentence.

    3. Withhold certain federal grants from Sanctuary Cities [[Trump is allegedly "working on" this, which I would support).

Getting back to my point, you said "accomplished," not "working on." The distinction is important, because Trump's been unsuccessfully "working on" things such as health care reform, the border wall and NAFTA since he was inaugurated, and he didn't actually force Carrier or Ford to bring those jobs that were / are in Mexico back to the US.

So again, I ask, what has Trump accomplished besides the things I mentioned?

Obama was a lackluster President. But we're not talking about him. And Trump is shaping up to be worse.

The fact remains, he's been even more "distracted" than the journalists you've disparaged. Who, of course, are still doing their jobs. Trump, on the other hand...
