People in Scotland will vote soon for independence from Great Britain. So far the voting turnout will be huge with close percentages. Can Scotland be a free nation or stay loyal to the Queen of England?
Any thoughts?

Just watched an interview with the First Minister of Scotland and he said even if they gain independence the Queen would still be a symbolic head of state as in New Zealand etc.

Here's an article on the subject:
Scots vote on independence, United Kingdom's fate on knife-edge
This is for you William Wallace.
Scotland voted "NO" so it still retains the freebies it gets from the English and no doubt they will get more as a reward. Maybe that was behind the Referendum - they win whichever way the vote goes. If they really want to disconnect from England they should tell the English what Scotland is costing them and arrange for the next vote to be held in England. There are only 5.3 Million scots; 53 Million English [[15 Million in London alone) the dog is letting the tail wag it. [[it's a bit like Detroit in Michigan)

Scotland remains a slave to the Queen of England! Their cultural heritage is lost.
