I'm younger than you and I remember some more feel good, Detroit is turning around, in the late 70's early 80's. The RenCen was just built, Joe Louis just opened, there was talk of mass transit downtown [[people mover), the city still had over 1 million people, Hudson's was still open, and there were still many stable neighborhoods. Now we're talking about tree farms, 7-11's, and Meijers.
