Will it convert mp3 to full WAV?

The wiki says yes... gonna need LAME encoder to get around proprietary stuff.

I'm talking Linux based OS. they have no problem with it. It's available in repositories.

I think the easiest way is to play through your computer and record directly into Audacity then convert and export .

Thanx Dan, I run Windows and an ancient version of Nero seems to do the trick Ok. Supposedly some of the newer freeware like Dbpoweramp will work well in today's world.
