The Lions, and the sentiments that come along with the history of distaste toward the Lions can be compared to that of the way the world views people of Black African descent. Most will cheer for us from a far, but the reality is, most would rather see the Lions, or African people continue to suffer in despair, because it helps us define our success in the world. As long as the Lions suffer, we have something to point to, to say, I'm better, I'm amerikkkan, and I'm human__go figure!
