Also gotta add sweet-juniper.com. Real nice people too.
I think this guy is one of the best photographers by far:

Andrew's International Metropolis [Windsor like you have never seen it before]
Gary's Water Winter Wonderland [More than Detroit]
Both sites have amazing depth, are award-winning, and outstanding.
I second Model D and Water Winter Wonderland. I miss the Girl In the D blog. I like the concept of the Detroit Army blog as well, and it has some good posts.
Oh, and of course I'll give a shameless plug to my own blog; Campus Martius Chronicle. I'm not sure that idea was so great now that it is getting into Winter, I actually didn't think that far ahead when I made it, but otherwise I enjoy it, and we have a little following. One of my goals is to improve over time.

This is one of the most informative threads I have ever read. Thanks to all of you for reminding me about sites I forgot about and telling me about sites I never heard of.
Can you bookmark a thread?
Gosh, I already need 48-hour-days to get everything done. Now I'll need to add 48 more just to read all these great sites!
Thanks for giving me more reasons not to do housework! lol

You're joking, right? An error-riddled site put together by a child is your idea of one of the city's best sites? Did you even read it?
Yes i did.... How is it error-riddled?
If you can't tell then you need to buy a dictionary.
Anyway, it's been discussed before:
http://www.detroityes.com/mb/showthread.php?t=508
Yes I know it has. Since then it has been redone.
Thought you guys may enjoy a new site I've been working on which is all about Detroit Soul & R&B from the 60s & 70s:
