Oh, sure let's resettle a bunch of Sunni Arabs in the immediate vicinity of Dearborn, the largest Shia Arab community outside of the Middle East. What could possibly go wrong?
Not that it matters but Google can be your friend
The Islamic Center of America [[Arabic: المركز الإسلامي في اميركا[1]) is a mosque located in Dearborn, Michigan. Although the institution dates back to 1963, [2] the Center's current mosque opened in 2005. It is the largest mosque in North America[3][4] and the oldest Shia mosque in the United States.[5] With its large Shia Arab population [[consisting mostly of Lebanese), Dearborn is often called the "heart of Shiism" in the United States.

There are lots of links out there.
Even more links show that the Sunnis would have lots of support also in Detroit.
Their differences are more political then religious, but to each their own and everybody pretty much wants a better future for themselves and their children,if they move there they will have a choice and they will make that choice based on where they feel the most comfortable.
If a couple are radicalized it really does not matter in the bigger picture,it’s not like we do not have radical people running around in major cities already, gangs and such.
It kinda makes it a moot point not worth dwelling on.
I have many friend [[Lebanese Chaldeans, Iraqi, etc) in Dearborn, whom I visit often and I've often asked about the Arab melting pot of the Dearborn area.
Yes some of the mosques get a broken window now and again, but the different separate ethnic groups are intermixed and few if any problems show up in the local media.
Dearborn/Dearborn Heights are 2 very safe and stable communities that are much improved since the large scale diaspora of ethnic Arabs into the area.
And for people that live here... we don't need Google to become informed.
Well it is good to see that you actually went out door to door and got a accurate account based on a few friends,it is nice to see somebody that dedicated.I have many friend [[Lebanese Chaldeans, Iraqi, etc) in Dearborn, whom I visit often and I've often asked about the Arab melting pot of the Dearborn area.

You are a better person then me because, even though I live in a highly Hispanic state and city and have lots of acquaintances that are Hispanic, even they cannot tell me how many Cubans there are verses Argentines verses Columbians verses Purto ricians, verses well you get the jist of it.
Even the Middle East stopped counting how many were in each group in 1963,so I guess even though they live there and have for 1000s of years, they do not even know?
Why always with the pissing match ?
Make up your mind and pick one, bitch because I do not use Google or bitch when I do,asking a few people does not make a statistical reality.
Weather you live there are not is totally irrelevant, you are not hiding some mythical population count from the rest of the world.
For that matter why do the census, you live there, all they need to do is stop by for coffee and you can give them all the exact numbers, based on you know a couple of people, just think of your contribution to society when you can save the taxpayers millions, how come you did not speak up before with this expertise?
You live there, why is there a thread on corruption, why did you vote corrupted people in ? Again . If you are looking for the credit you also have to be ready to accept the responsibility.
Outside of what you think, because you live there,do you actually have any real numbers?
Is Dearborn even located in the City of Detroit? You would know because you live there.
Groups are going to be mixed until one side outnumbers the other, apparently you missed the part where I wrote the divisions were always more political then religious, there is not enough difference between the two to be warring, the politicians used the groups against each other to create divisions and war.
Which never happens is this country, thankfully,so we are all good and can now drop this line.

Why would you need to be informed when it’s much easier to profess knowledge that you made up?I have many friend [[Lebanese Chaldeans, Iraqi, etc) in Dearborn, whom I visit often and I've often asked about the Arab melting pot of the Dearborn area.
