I certainly don't feel a need to defend myself or my intentions. I will, however, apologize to anyone whom may have taken offense to the term. The word is, at least to my understanding, from Yiddish and Jewish roots. It's been used by me and Jewish friends, in my presence, very recently. No one seemed to have a problem speaking or hearing it. As long as I've been around and as much as I've heard the term used by Jews and Gentiles alike, it's never been disputed, but rather considered colorful and descriptive. I guess if I'd YELLED it LOUDLY and HOSTILELY, it might be more offensive. Is the regular program coming back?
