In regards to the gates, security, and relationship to the surrounding area, a person in another forum brought up the idea of U of D-Mercy duplicating what Wayne State University's Police Department does for the surrounding Midtown area. If Marygrove was still around, U of D and Marygrove could have partnered to create such a service for that general area.
