Not sure how many future generations are going to appreciate the cars of the past, especially the ICE type. There was a “25 year rule” the collector community were familiar with which saw major upsurges in appreciation once the car hit 25 years old. Justification was that it was the poster car you dreamt about as a teen, and can finally afford in your 40’s. I think that rule has run its course as teens of today have less focus on possessions and more on experiences.
