In the May 5, 1895 edition of the Detroit Free Press a C. Whiteing is listed pulling the building permits for the houses posted below. I cannot find any reference to C. Whiteing in any of the city directories from 1890-1899, I do not know if C. Whiteing is a developer, builder or an architect/designer. Both houses appear to be almost Identical except for being reversed horizontally.
