I was fine with the immigrant/foreign slant on it all.
Many in the Detroit area had foreign born grandparents and parents.
Speed freaks and adrenaline junkies will leave "liquid" fuel alone
Tesla has delivered the ultimate fan car

0 to 100 mph times of only 4.2 seconds,
a top speed north of 250 mph
and 621 miles of estimated range on a single charge.

Not sure how many future generations are going to appreciate the cars of the past, especially the ICE type. There was a “25 year rule” the collector community were familiar with which saw major upsurges in appreciation once the car hit 25 years old. Justification was that it was the poster car you dreamt about as a teen, and can finally afford in your 40’s. I think that rule has run its course as teens of today have less focus on possessions and more on experiences.
Going really fast, without noise, is really appealing.
Racing was and is today, always about Technology, Innovation, Creativity.
Automakers like Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz are
joining the electric-racing circuit.
NASCAR could easily have Ecars on the track.
They want revenue, people in the seats, as much as anyone else.
