Do you regularly get your news from Russia Today? That explains a lot really.Meanwhile in Dem Land... https://www.rt.com/usa/400024-wasser...it-indictment/
I know it doesn't fit the current news narrative but here it is.
You know it's directly funded by the Russian government and its content is controlled by the Kremlin, right?
Here GMan, I'll help you out. Here's a Fox News link for the exact same story:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017...ndictment.html
See? You don't have to get your news directly from Russian propaganda sources, there are plenty of news outlets right here in the good 'ol US of A that will cater to your tastes.
Now do you have any thoughts on this story or are you just doing a drive-by? The jist of the article is that he is now being charged with four felony counts instead of just the one felony count of bank fraud. The charges are as follows: making false statements on a loan or credit application; engaging in unlawful monetary transactions and conspiracy to commit bank fraud; false statements on a loan or credit application and unlawful monetary transactions.
All of these charges are related to the fact that he took out a home equity loan on a house that he owned that was not his primary residence [[it was a rental property) but he lied on the application and said it was his primary residence. Crime of the century, for sure, and yes by all means lock him up for his crimes.
The part I'm not quite getting is how a former House IT aide committing a financial crime that had absolutely nothing to do with his former job as a House IT aide has any relevance to anything.
From the Fox News article:
Attorney Christopher Gowen told Fox News that federal authorities have no evidence of misconduct by Awan relating to his IT duties.

So are you saying that because RT reported it that it is fake news or not true?
Here is a copy of the indictment.
you have to copy and past it into the browser and it pulls up the pdf

Meanwhile in Dem Land...The Wasserman IT scandal gets little play....
http://nypost.com/2017/08/19/it-staf...-intelligence/
Seems to be getting plenty of play on Right Wing media sources and Russian propaganda outlets desperate for any story to distract from the raging dumpster fire that is the Trump Administration. NYPost, Russia Today, Drudge, Fox News, Right Wing talk radio, sounds like "play" to me. Also isn't it odd that the reporting on Russia Today so closely mirrors that of American Right Wing media outlets? It's almost as if their agendas align or something...Meanwhile in Dem Land...The Wasserman IT scandal gets little play....

I know the 5 column media hasn't been giving it much play.
Nice try, Gman.

Again, sorry that they aren't covering this story as the number one news story in the nation to suit your tastes, but every single "fifth column" news outlet did in fact report on it. In fact they each reported on this story multiple times.
Don't look now, but that's a CNN article you linked to! I thought they weren't reporting on it?
I.T. aid for top democrats arrested for Bank fraud;

Again, how is it "big news?" A low-level IT staffer committed bank fraud. He is not charged with a single offense related to his former job as a House IT staffer. Still waiting on what part of that constitutes "big news."
You made that look rather easy AJ. Have they stopped even trying? Or maybe their checks bounced?
No we just don't waste are time trying. We all have day jobs.
Now lets see, an IT staffer has control over accounts including passwords of the DNC and congressional members and data is stored in unsecured servers and there is a leak of info from DNC servers that somehow HAS to be Russia and said IT staffer is foreign national with backdoor access and tries to flee country after sending large sum of cash overseas.....NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Stop racial profiling this IT staffer per Wasserman's claim.
Yeah it's not news.
Wait a second, I thought Seth Rich leaked the DNC emails? Now you're saying this guy did it? Which is it? Because it can't be both. I'm sorry Gman, but I must insist that you pick one conspiracy theory to explain the DNC email leak and stick with it please.

Yeah it's not news.
And you rip on other people for not reading.
I said it was suggested that Seth was the leaker. But hey you pick and choose what form of Socialism you want. Me I don't want any form.
Oh, is that like when Trump says "Some people are saying" followed by some ridiculous claim to avoid accusations that he himself is suggesting it?
I guess that's just you offering an impartial take on what "some people are suggesting."
It's about time for another tidbit of news to keep the Russian Collaboration narrative active. Come on the Media Awaits it. Or now that we have the Deep States control on the WH does the whole matter fade away?
Hillary's book is out. Maybe Russia will make a come back for that.
Minor announcement: Podesta forgets to disclose work for same Russian think tank that Manafort under investigation for.

The DNC fraud lawsuit has been dismissed:
https://medium.com/@caityjohnstone/t...y-7413e4de0b43
Just a slight distinction: Manafort isn't under investigation because he worked as a foreign lobbyist. He's under investigation because he got paid tens of millions of dollars by the Russians, did not report that income, did not pay taxes on that income, and instead illegally laundered it through various shell companies in Central America. That's what he's under investigation for. Did Podesta engage in illegal money laundering of tens of millions of dollars paid to him by the Russians? If not, I'd say it's not entirely an apt comparison.Minor announcement: Podesta forgets to disclose work for same Russian think tank that Manafort under investigation for.
