I recall a thread on the subject, and seeing an old marker memorializing the "last Indian attack" in Detroit. I believe it was on a building on Washington Blvd.
Does anyone recall this thread or have info?
thanks!

Could it be this one? As a youngster, I remember going to Elmwood Cemetary with family and one of my uncles telling me that one of the creeks running thru the cemetery was where the Battle of Bloody Run was. Most likely just to scare me but who knows.

It was on the Capitol Park bldgTHIS TABLET MARKS THE SITE OF DETROIT’S LAST INDIAN MASSACRE
The last open act of hostility by the Indians in Detroit was the killing and scalping on this spot of Ananias McMillan on September 10, 1814. His son, Archie, eleven years old, was taken captive and held for ransom until the spring of 1815.
Presented to the City of Detroit in the month of September, 1926.
In Warren we have the Red Run, river of blood from Indian massacres.
