So, just saw a herd of scooters [[lots of Vespa's) heading north on Trumbull toward Warren. There was probably 60 or more.
My girlfriend has a scooter and wants to join in on a ride with those folks. Anyone have any info about this group?

The Rovers is a vintage scooter club - old shifter scoots like Lambrettas and Vespas, etc. but a few members also have a modern scooter [[twist and go). We welcome all types of scoots and riders during our monthly meet-ups, but actively encourage the vintage aspect of the scootering lifestyle. This past weekend was the 7th annual Motor City Shakedown rally, and drew over 100 scooterists and over 70 scooters from as far away as Boston and Washington DC as well as our regulars from Pittsburgh, Windsor and London, and Cleveland and Columbus, among others. We were headquartered at Hostel Detroit and rode all over town, including the Michigan Theater, which was very cool. We were at 3rd Street on Friday night and the Lager House on Saturday, which were both great venues for the scooterists. We sell Detroit pretty hard during these things and try to open some eyes. Early feedback from this year is very positive.
Has anybody heard of the Veriline gas/electric hybrid tri-scooter made in Detroit?
I heard a short news story on WWJ radio today, but have not found any reference on their website or Google.
Sounds interesting, and they now are looking for distributors.
I can dream of spring - can't I ?
