Really nice apartments in Detroit

what? not even close. decent apartments but extremely outdated.

I would probably say Willy's Overland Lofts. There's a loft going for upward of 600K i'm pretty sure.

Ellington Lofts are also pretty damn nice, most expensive I've heard selling there are a 1350 SF going for around 310K

both of those are in midtown

I thought those^ were owned properties, not rentals.

I don't know their status but the Albert in Capitol Park is coming online. There is also a building next to it, the former Detroit Savings Bank, which being carved into 56 rental units according to Curbed.

The Broderick could also be considered an upscale rental.

As for the Renaissance City Apartments [fka Millender Apartments] it has just completed an extensive upscale renovation. I believe the same is true for the other Village Green property, Detroit City Apartments [fka Trolley Plaza]. Cater corner from DCA the Gilbert-owned Claridge [where Birmingham art Galerist David Klein is locating] has also been renovated.

I am uncertain of its interior status but the gorgeous Fyfe Building [NW corner of Woodward and Adams] is certainly upscale on its exterior. More recently announced is the upcoming upscaling of the Townhouse Apartments [fka Pontchartrain Club] across form DTE HQ.
