There's not much that will burn there. The building is all porcelain and stainless steel.
"How do you want your burger? Well done?"
Come back soon, Telway. Of all Hamburger Systems, yours is my favorite.
Braz's, on DEquinderand 9 Mile puts out a better burger. I like Telway a lot though.
Brazy? For real? Brayz tastes like McDonald's, except McDonald's is actually cheaper. You crazy, dog.
If you can't live without a Telway burger, there's always the one in Madison Heights.
Telway will reopen. Even if a fire total loss, he'd build a new one ASAP.
In the 70's, a Burger King was opened across the street. Earl was annoyed but said Telway's been around much longer than BK. Same thing when a Rallys opened next door in 80s. Both those are long gone, replaced by drug stores. Telway survived....
The best!http://russmarshallphotographs.net/
I actully happened to be driving down Michigan Ave right after this happened- the fire trucks were still on the scene. It didn't look that bad inside [[at least from the street), so hopefully they will be back up and running soon.
Hurry back Telway!
Don't make me go to Motz's... [[actually, I love Motz's).
Stopped in there today. Business as usual. Cant even tell there was a fire
