Interesting. I know a fair amount about Detroit history but this is the first I'm hearing of this wall. Kind of cool that it still exists today.

Lowell, I clicked on one of those links for The Wall then checked
back on Google Maps. There is a small discrepancy. In the link the
park is "Joe Louis Park" whereas Google Maps has "Alfonso Wells
Memorial Park" by The Wall with there being a Joe Louis Park elsewhere
in the city.
