That sounds like a plot for one of those "CSI" shows. should have the full DNA workup by 4 this afternoon. In true CSI miami style, they should get a perfect, pristine fingerprint on the saw blade.
Organized crime hit? Jealous boyfriend/husband/girlfriend/wife? Random psycho?
Judging by the quality of the text, I would say this is a hoax.
In Detroit, people in the ghettoes will end up mission only the dead bodies found in some vacant lot or field.
Who said the mob isn't active...
*looks up* Lenny? Lenny Briscoe?“Someone obviously had a bone to pick with these two people …"

Somebody went to pieces...
Wow....the lack of empathy is palatable by some people on this thread.
These two human beings belong to someone. They were thrown away like garbage, worse than garbage.
I have noticed lately that so many people have become callous to these horrid things happening in society today. It's almost as if it's accepted as the "norm". Making jokes about this is absolutely apalling.
That's one way of looking at it. Another way is that if you were to spend your empathy on all the awful things that happened, you'd be depressed as hell. A sense of humor has helped people in tough places, whether it's Fox Creek or a foxhole.Wow....the lack of empathy is palatable by some people on this thread.

Obviously!! Interesting choice of words considering...As homocides [sic] go, Dolunt said this is as bad as it gets.
“it was unconscionable,” he said. ”someone obviously had a bone to pick with these two people … and wanted to send a message.”
Sounds horrible and saddening that other can do this to their fellow man.
I really cant laugh about it but I also try not to think too much about all of the bad things that happen in this great nation among other places. It truly will drive you into deep depression. I always have an AM radio playing where I am and the hourly news is just all about killings and other bad stuff happening.
Well, if I were to die in a gruesome murder, and my friends were to turn it into something that amused instead of saddened them, I would have wanted it that way...Sounds horrible and saddening that other can do this to their fellow man.

...maybe laughter and jokes help some get over the shock of this, but while some may think it's funny, family members of these two souls need prayers, not jokes.
Well, yeah. Unless they're Irish and having a wake...
Seriously, though, I don't think anybody is proposing telling morbid jokes to the family and laughing in their faces...
Tough way to get ahead.
I think their name was "Bob".
I wonder if this is related to the remains found in Eliza Howell last week.
Maybe we've got a "body parts killer" like that porn wierdo from Canada.
Studies show that what we find humorous is a direct reflection of our own personal anxieties. Sometimes humor is the only way some can deal with such grotesque tragedies. Hence the term "gallows humor".

On the other hand, I have noticed that people are pretty much the same.
In 1895 two people in Fall River MA were cut to pieces by their daughter Lizzie.
There grew up a nursery rhyme about it that pretty much every child still knows. When I was a girl we jumped rope to it:
Lizzie Borden took an ax
And gave her mother 40 whacks.
When she saw what she had done
She gave her father 41.

Yeah, children are devoid of empathy until a bit later.
Only the most gruesome of murders gets any notice in our conditioning by the media to everyday acts of violence.
Perp musta' been a real cut-up.
But now I know this must be a Twilight Zone episode.

wouldnt be surprised if it involved less than 5K or that much in drugs. Someone let their guard down. These 2 caught em slippin and then got caught up somehow or another. Could be something else entirely. Its unfortunate but typically if you end up in the river in pieces you did something.
