From the DVD: "J Men is the story of The Secret World War, a War of Cultures as Rock and Roll smashes Schmaltzy Music. This outrageous comedy was created by the Firesign Theater's Phillip Proctor and Peter Bergman in the style of Woody Allen's 'What's Up Tiger Lilly". From the goldmine of Republic Cliffhanger Serials, J Men was overdubbed with new voices and script to a classic rock soundtrack. For more than 20 years, J Men has been only rarely available and mostly on pure quality bootlegged videos. This digitally re-mastered version is authorized by Proctor and Bergman, with special hilarious bonus interviews on the making of the film. J Men Forever became the signature for Night Flight's stoned comedy audience in the 1980's. This ultimate late night chronic high comedy was the most demanded rerun for the entire 8 years Night Flight was on the USA Network. Shtay Hi

This 1985 film presaged the unprecedentedly commonplace acceptance of torture and domestic terrorist/authoritarian reciprocity that came to be in the USA.Terry Gilliam's Brazil 1985. A typo in the Department of Information Retrieval leads to a clerk becoming an enemy of the state.

Cyriak's still out there defiantly persuading reality itself that it's only pretending it's not a figment of its own imagination.
John Conway on Games and Puzzles
The title is misleading. John Horton Conway is covered but it's more about Martin Gardner.
Watch Ryan Duffy get shot in the chest as he tests the strength of a fashion forward bulletproof vest made by Steven Seagal's personal tailor.

I'm looking for a link to a video posted here some time ago, showing a corvette with a dash-mounted camera chasing a Ford MG down I-94 at 160 MPH. After finally locating search [[was it always in FAQ?) I discovered it doesn't work. I tested it by looking for for Wayne County General Hospital, mentioned in a recent post I made, and nothing came back.

You might be using the feature that searches only the FAQ.
http://www.detroityes.com/mb/search.php passed your test.
Another technique is to just use Google with the term site:detroityes.com or for the former forum site:atdetroit.net.
Thanks for the tips. I searched YouTube and found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a7My4kE6SM
Woo Hoo! Well worth the search. You'll never catch me driving that fast in traffic. Thanks for the tips. I searched YouTube and found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a7My4kE6SM
Total duration 55 minutes:Here's a 55 minute long BBC documentary about my favorite cartoonist. This precedes the Terry Zwigoff film bio "Crumb" by 7 years. Nowhere near as in-depth or powerful as the Zwigoff film, but probably an enjoyable view for fellow R. Crumb devotees nonetheless.
At 19:43 there's a large tube attached to the driver's window at a drive-in restaurant. Was that air conditioning?!
He's like Woody Allen but with talent. j/k
