I agree with that statement however does it not bother you that people are going nuts over a shoe that retails for $180 and is manufactured oversea at a cost of somewhere between $5 and $10 dollars. I don't think even food items mark up there cost to that extent.

Its just that so much of the price of the shoe is going towards royalties to Jordan, various marketing costs, and that doesn't include the normal distribution cost. And without any studies telling me I can run faster, jump higher and shoot straighter with those shoes it just seems silly that folks would buy the Jordans like they do.
