Sounds painful, I hope he paid for breakfast.
Lmao......
That is the thumping power of Snyder, the Nerd. By October 1st. over 40,000 who living on government cheese for the last 5 to10 years will not get their checks in the mail on October 1st. Therefore "GET A JOB, MORONS!" thus saith the Republicans.
WORD FROM THE STREET PROPHET
We looking at lot's of crying folks, some with hungry children.
Neda, I miss you so.
No one can live on government cheese alone. The benefits just aren't there.
It would be interesting to see stats on how many have, or are suspected of having, under the table incomes or are engaged in criminal enterprise. DON'T YELL. I'm not saying all do but I'm sure some do and drawing welfare would be a pretty good cover.

Why not. Jessie Jackson has been freeloading all his lifeNo one can live on government cheese alone
On a related note - why would kids here who don't have ties to undocumented immigrants be pulled from Alabama's schools because of the new immigration law? Kinda proves Alabama's point, doesn't it?
Hispanic students vanish from Alabama schools
"he is here to attend a rally expected to reach about 40k to protest the cuts"
News stories put the attendance at the rally at Cadillac Place between 50 persons and 200 persons
Sounds like some needs to buy a new calculator. In any event Jackson is back on a plane by now and we're left to ourselves......

Check your wallet...
I was there. It was more like 15-20 people. The rest were folks waiting around at the secretary of state.
Jesse Jackson has something in common with welfare abusers; they haven't worked in a very long, long time.
Jackson exploits the victim mentality that poor people have. He does so at their expense. Jackson has done very little to truly help out poor folks, black folks, nor has he done anything for real, true, color-blind equality.
I'm sorry you had that unfortunate experience.
Is the Rev. Jackson still relevant?
Does this mean you get to lie about where you were/ what you did at MLK's assassination? Does this mean you get to make very hateful anti-semitic remarks? Does this mean you ge to go on a "progressive hunger strike" [[his phrase), where you don't eat for an entire hour, before passing off the strike to someone else? Does it mean you get to travel to Cuba and appear with Castro and criticize American policy, freely travelling the country and speaking your mind, two things Cubans haven't been able to do since 1959? Do you now get referred to as Reverend, although you have almost exclusively been involved in politics and not religion for 40+ years, and you have been caught playing doctor to more than one woman who isn't your wife? Does this mean you get to show up at other people's events and have most of the publicity redirected away from said event and towards yourself?
Just wondering what the perks are of fist bumping the Good Reverend.

I dont know where he was during the MLK's assassination....but I know I was on DetroitYES when ultra right wing forumers began their character assassinations about a man they know nothing about except from what was told to them by people who lived in a particular checkered era of our nation's history, Faux Snooze and their own biases....
Shining a little light and truth on Rev. Jackson does make him rather distasteful. I can see why you'd be upset.I dont know where he was during the MLK's assassination....but I know I was on DetroitYES when ultra right wing forumers began their character assassinations about a man they know nothing about except from what was told to them by people who lived in a particular checkered era of our nation's history, Faux Snooze and their own biases....
Jackson has only hurt race relations and he has especially hurt the black people. Jackson makes controversy because without it he has no function.
The Good Reverend spent 2 and half decades claiming to have been with Dr. King when he was shot, and cradled his dying head. In reality, he wasn't there [[although he was in town), and only arrived after police and reporters were on seen. He had said he never washed his "blood soaked shirt." Wonder whose blood it was; certainly it was not Dr. King's.I dont know where he was during the MLK's assassination....but I know I was on DetroitYES when ultra right wing forumers began their character assassinations about a man they know nothing about except from what was told to them by people who lived in a particular checkered era of our nation's history, Faux Snooze and their own biases....
And by the way, I am only moderately right wing, not ultra. I have listed in my previous post specific examples of poor character on Rev. Jackson's part. How about refuting them, rather than attack someone you don't know? Lots of people- black, white, rich, poor, liberal, conservative- don't have lives full of lies, division, and breeding mistrust. Jesse Jackson just isn't in that group.
Oh, and I happily haven't had a TV in 10 years. No Fox News for me.
Did you record it for Tim Conway Jr's Game Show "What The Hell Did Jesse Jackson Say?" http://www.kfiam640.com/pages/jessejackson/
BTW Tim Jr's mom is from Detroit & he speaks of his visits to The D quite fondly, her family used to run the Dalton Funeral Home in Dearborn & his uncles were a musical act
Stupid question, is he THE Tim Conway's son?

Thanks, Jimaz! Tim Sr. is one of my favorite people.
