warts and all, the world is watching us not want to become NY or LA. Few movie houses or big-box stores south of 8 Mile . Ruins. All may become good things. As we move from an us-and-them region to just "us," it's a simple prescription:
"Embrace your otherness."
There is, in fact, no other place like home.
