It was a damn good commercial too!
Good for her. That was actually the only Dorito's commercial that I thought was good. She'd probably be getting a little more publicity locally if not for that Chrysler ad that has everyone buzzing. Still, I'm sure she's happy with the 400K.

Ty Williams, the only Doritos finalist with the hometown ties to Detroit, is residing in California to follow her job, as is the case with a lot of Detroiters and Michiganders who have left for brighter opportunities in supporting their households.
Detroit roots are strong and hers are definitely planted here in the family and friends that supported her in the contest.
