We sat in the very last row of the balcony...just under the projectors.

Everything was perfect.

It was easily the longest and most enjoyable inexpensive night out ever. Plus everyone was so gosh-darned nice, polite, and happy to be there.

When the movie started, people actually shut up. Paid attention.

Everyone was there on purpose...and got their chatting and cell phoning and coat rattling and popcorn rustling and candy gouging out of the way during that fabulous organ opening. He was obviously having fun, and it was really cool to watch those who went down to watch HIM play that thing. It had some curious sound effects, most certainly to go along with pre-talkie movies.

The theater was amazing, and the acoustics...even to the back row...were steadily non-intrusive and supportive of the dialogue. And it was the best place to be to feel those low notes from the organ.

Just what this newly-single now-ex-virgin-RedfordTheater, rookie porn-star/stripper needed.
