    It was 12" exactly [[at least officially).

    The strangest part about this storm was that the low pressure center itself tracked west of here [[over Lansing). which made it an even more unique event. Normally a track like the Janaury '99 storm would produce rain here and not snow.

    Supposedly there was widespread thundersnow and Monroe County did swtich over to freezing rain for a time.
