That's a valid point. The problem with Bobb is that he made cuts over here while spending money for his people and consultants from out of state over there... Thus, the budget is still blown with more draconian cuts to come.

The 'culture' of excessively high rate billing and payments for outside services, contractors and vendors [[questionable, spurious or not) has little changed in DPS! Now just different people are billing. Some of whom will simply pack their bags and go back out of state once this is all over. Again leaving us to ourselves.

We can debate on if overall Bobb is [[was) effective in a number of areas. However I'm positive that we would have NEVER seen the extent of rightsizing of buildings and personnel within DPS under the present board set-up. The board would never have the political will to do such a thing.
