I vote for the Bee Gees. They sound more pathetically heartbroken.

Only a piece of the song. The whole CD was terrific. Almost painfully personal, but terrific.
Leonard Cohen, The Future.
Anyone happen to catch his concert last week at the Fox? I wanted to go, but couldn't justify the $75 ticket prices. I saw him at the State, back in, I think 1993 and he was wonderful.
Listening to Train, Hotel Costes, Soul II Soul. I know they're modern chestnuts, but I like them anyway.
Keely Smith is a friend, as well as my favorite vocalist of all time, and her most recent CD's are super!

- Corneille - The Birth Of Cornelius
- Erykah Badu - Live [[2009)
Hold Steady - Live at SXSW. I love love love this band. Then I'm turning on the TV for the night and turning off my brain. Nighty night.
I guess nobody here saw Leonard Cohen, at the Fox, last week?
It was so expensive, I fretted and whined about the price till it was sold out. Everyone I know who went is still rhapsodizing about the show.

Oldredfordette, don't fret over having missed Leonard Cohen. If the reports [[which I've been hearing for years) that he is God are true, alls ya gotta do is behave yourself, and you should be able to see him after you keel over, which [[hopefully) will be many, many years from now, but not to worry; they say that great art is ageless.
I went to New York for the Pete Seeger 90th birthday concert at Madison Square Garden, it was astounding and epic so I really can't bitch too much about missing Leonard.
Can anyone supply a link to a recent popular song with the lyrics "I've been traveling this road so long"? I heard it on a recent road trip several times and fell in love with it. It had a rap element to it too.
