I suppose as a Detroiter, I should be frustrated that people are dying here in Detroit and I suppose I could say that death circles the globe. Murder happens in every city that has the poor in large numbers and Detroit is no different. To say that Detroit has more murders than many countries is hyperbole. You said you been to poor parts of Eastern Europe and you say people respect each other but let me ask you if they live under our system? When you say Eastern Europe, you are referring to the satellite nations of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republic right? The enemy was not the people but the Communist system and its puppets and in some places the enemy is still the government.
