First report I read said they claimed it was road rage - that I could believe. Rage causes you to shoot someone 30 times, not trying to stiff a dealer twenty bucks.

road rage makes a heck of a lot more sense than any of the other theories flying around.
my friend thought it was a failed carjacking.

after reading the entire thread, i have my own theory that no one has made yet.

they were shot at by a person who doesnt like blacks and whites to associate with each other! probably resides from grosse point, who followed them from gpw to detroit and finally saw his chance.
