What really amazes me is that the two accused of the New Years Eve shooting in which a woman was shot NINE times and the driver [[later killed in Ypsi) was shot once ARE OUT ON BAIL.

DETROIT, Mich. [[WJBK) - A case of road rage is adjourned after one of the key witnesses who was also one of the victims is shot and killed. The witness was set to testify about a New Year's Day shooting that badly injured two people who were leaving the MGM Casino in Detroit.
30-year old Willie Lee Wimberly of Trenton and 33-year-old Steve Deshaun Smith-Rush of Inkster appeared before a judge in 36th District Court this morning.
Police say Wimberly is accused of opening fire on a vehicle on I-94, shooting one woman nine times and a man in the vehicle at least once. That man was supposed to testify today but according to prosecutors the victim, identified in court as Brandon Charles, was shot and killed in Ypsilanti Township last night.
Michigan State Police tell FOX 2 they are working with the Washtenaw County Sheriff Department to determine if there is a connection between Wimberly, Rush-Smith and last night's shooting.
In the road rage incident Wimberly has been charged with two counts of Assault with Intent to Commit Murder and one count of Felony Firearm. Smith-Rush has been charged with one count of Accessory after the Fact to a Felony. Both men are currently both out on bond.
Their case was adjourned until February 20th. The woman who was shot is expected to testify that day.
