Hello All:
Being new to the site, let me first of all introduce the project. We are producing a documentary about Detroit. It's a positive piece in which we tell the story of Detroit bloggers and how Detroit is important to them. Many of the people interviewed are young entrepreneurs who have moved their businesses and families back to the city proper because of their enthusiasm for the city.

A portion of the video tells a brief history of the changes Detroit has endured over the centuries. We are in need of photos of the late 1800's and early 1900's that depict life in the city.

Of particular interest would be pictures of agrarian society; farming, horse and buggy, Woodward Ave or Jefferson.

Turn of the century scenes of people enjoying Belle Isle or in a pub enjoying music or dancing.

Although we do not have any money to pay for the rights usage, since we are doing this as a "Labor of love", we would acknowledge any contributions in closing screen credits.

We do intend to attempt to raise funds for the production once it is finalized and would gladly pay a reasonable amount if we are successful.

Please respond here and we can discuss transmission.
