Congrats Cara Blount. Don't disappoint us!
My ponies didn't fair well either, but I really didn't expect them to.
I really doubt it matters at this point considering Detroit has no industry. With no industry and falling property tax revenue, things are going to be drastic no matter who is in office. Very very sad times are in the future for Detroit. If you think we're screwed up now, wait until next year ...
Johnson and Reggie Reg Davis. Awesome. Dream team.
No Elena Herrada? That sucks.
I had really been hoping for both Cara and Patty Fedewa...
Congrats Cub! I guess all of your Blount signs all over the garden got the attention of voters.
All,
Thank you for your support, we managed to eke out a win! I was hoping for Patty also, and had all my friends & family vote for her but alas, we were outnumbered. Many of us agreed that even if we lost, we would lend our support and energy to the commission's efforts. I've already heard from Patty, she's ready, willing and able.
Was disappointed that my old high school buddy Tonya Myers-Phillips didn't make it, but was happy for Jenice Mitchell Ford and Ken Harris, both of whom I know.
I saw Patty tonight at our West Village Neighborhood Association board meeting and she reaffirmed your statement about her willingness to help, even though she was not elected. She cares a great deal for the city and I know she will do what she can to help, regardless of whether she was elected or not. Congratulations Cara!!!
Thank you BillyBB!
