Actually I am serious surprised at anyone going to that fiasco. Mostly I just feel sorry for the poor smuck. I don't care to view train wreaks.

Not really......two sayings come to mind "A fool and his money are soon parted" and as PT Barnum said "There is a sucker born every minute" Oh yea one more "You get what you paid for"

The people who went should have know by his recent rants that this person is lost and needs really help. Unfortunately the poeple around him won't tell him that because that is their meal ticket and they don't want that to end.

Experiment my ass.....I'd rather watch that God awful Rebecca Black sing "Friday" till my ears hurt.

People came from all over the country to see this guy?
I wouldn't walk across the street if Sheen was appearing at my neighbor's house.

He is from Hollywood, you'd think he could get someone who could produce a half way decent show. It sounds like it was a complete mess.

Ticket purchasers don't realize that they are now on the "FBI potential drug users" list. WTF?

I remember complaining about having to pay more that $10.00 a ticket for Alice Cooper back in the 70's. Alice Cooper! Now THAT'S a show. I agree with the others. If you paid to see this, you got what you deserved.

I would bet that more than half the people who went downtown to see that loser don't have a pot to pi$$ in themselves. It shows me where their priorities are. I guess the economy in Metro Detroit isn't that bad afterall.

My review of the show: Link

It wasn't bad because Sheen was drugged out. It was bad because it wasn't smooth or well organized. People were crazed with joy in some parts, but got angry because the show felt disjointed and padded.

While probably 75% of this was Sheen and his handler's fault, the audience was booing BEFORE it began. There were agitators there whose sole mission was to drunkenly boo anything.

Honestly, it felt at times like a Phillies crowd. These people were doing to boo Santa, the pope or Thomas the Tank Engine. But I guess that's the crowd that will go to this sort of show.

The show can be fixed: Trim it down, make it smooth, more Sheen talking, more celeb guests, lose most of the videos.

I'm glad the people who paid to gawk at a human train-wreck got what they deserved. I'm sorry they feel entitled to their money back; they got what they paid for.

With the return of the Tigers [[let's not get into their performance) and...whatever this is...it is saddening that drug-addicted woman-beaters are beloved by so many.

If you've ever dealt with or had a relative with an addiction or mental problems - Sheen seems to have both - you know it isn't funny. You know that in Cabrera's case, you can't just pretend when someone is busy with something, like playing baseball, their demons will go away without proper treatment.

I'm not a woman but if you've ever had a relationship with a woman who was abused by someone you'd realize how deeply and painfully it cuts. If you're a normal, decent man, you know how unimaginable it is to think of beating a woman.

Meanwhile, its the gays that are destroying marriage [[Personally I've never met a gay guy who's battered a wife or mother, except for maybe a bitch-slap). And the teachers and garbage men must be dealt with severely by our governors for the sake of our country. And the academics who are brainwashing our young people. The President of the United States? Not even American.

Glad you wasted your money, suckers.

No, it's not. I feel awful for his parents and his kids. Families of drug addicts and alcoholics are not only victimized by their loved one's illness, they are what the recovery community calls "co-addicted." They don't pick up the bottle or the pipe or shoot up, but it's hard not to be affected by your child, spouse's, or parent's behavior.

Tell me about it. In my community, there are still people supporting Chris Brown over Rihanna. Even some of my relatives have said to me they don't think she was innocent. She pushed him to beat her like that. Sexism is even more universal than racism... some people who wouldn't dare discriminate because of someone's ethnicity believe that victims of sexual or physical violence were "asking for it."

Glad you wasted your money, suckers.
Now, I can't agree with that. I think it's sick and tragic that as a society, we are choosing to feed someone's addiction.

Previously, I've only ever admired Martin Sheen as an actor. He's one of my faves. This year, I am feeling compassion and pity for him as a dad. I've walked that path of watching people I loved very dearly destroy themselves. There isn't a mental and emotional torture quite like it -- you watch the drugs and alcohol wreck their bodies, minds, souls, and spirits. You warp your own life trying to make excuses, trying to intervene, force them into rehab, hiding bottles and paraphrenalia, making bargains, making threats. In the end you learn there isn't a damned thing you can do except whisper the serenity prayer... acceptance. Courage. Wisdom.

There is absolutely nothing funny or entertaining about the tragedy of Charlie Sheen.

Bill Shea pretty much nailed it. There were opportunities for Sheen to capitalize on the crowd's excitement, but his act fell short. It was very obvious that he underestimated the work it takes to put on a good live show. I thought there was potential, though. Charlie Sheen is an entertaining person, but in order to enjoy him, we actually have to see him. He spent 85% of the show backstage while videos played. Some videos, like the remixed version of his 20/20 interview, was pretty funny, but I didn't pay to see a video; I paid to see Charlie Sheen. Showing that 1980s movie, called "RPG," with Johnny Depp was a waste of time, and watching a video of Sheen play Call of Duty while he sat backstage was stupid.

In the end, I just wanted to see Charlie Sheen. I would have been satisfied with a show where he just sat on stage and told war stories, ripped on the Hollywood execs that he so hates, and talked about his life living with two pornstars. Based on his interviews, he's obviously funny and witty, so he should just be himself. I think that's all people wanted. And for pete's sake, he needs to find a better opening act, a better musical performance, and get rid of that long-winded speech at the beginning of the show that even he admitted made no fucking sense.
