Default Jackson middle school Detroit east. Side

This huge school was built in in 1928, in the Mack/Alter area. It is a grand old building with large gym and swimming pool. Was used as a temporary teaching location while the new Finney high school was being built and was permanently closed in 2012. @
Two blocks from this building is another old school, also very large, I’m guessing it was built in the late 1920’s. Can anyone give me the name of this school, maybe a Catholic schoo?
