You should get one of these for your weather deck.
We are going to to see more LA NINA Winter Weather all the way down to the end of March YAY!
Not yet! LA NINA is here to stay for a while, blame it on global warming. In which most of your folks called it 'A MYTH'!"
I'm sure La Nina under that cover of snow Danny is a pretty cute girl, eh?
I don't know from La Nina or La Pinta or La Santa Maria, but just reading this thread made me grab my camera and take a shot of my flowering plum tree out front of the house. Spring has been here since Groundhog Day, and a big hiss to the first guy who says, "Yeah, but you got no water!"
Tonight's sunset...
Yeah, wasn't that beautiful? It looked more magenta and less brilliant to me.
I love the tree branch silhouettes in your photo. It's like a story within a story. That's a sight rarely seen in the desert southwest. There's also an interesting reflection of the sunset below to the right.
High of 66 and sunny today. Hope everyone gets a chance to get out and enjoy it.
The moon is gorgeous tonight!
Bump -so people can complain about the snow.
Glad I forced some Forsthytia. The snow is depressing.
It'll be gone in a few hours
I was right! In April, Metro-Detroit Area will get a La Nina snowburst. This could be the last one.
Boyoboy, do I hope you're right about this being the last gasp, Danny. January's beauty is not well appreciated this far into April no matter how ordinary this weather actually is.
It always snows in April. I dunno why everyone is so surprised.
Thats true. I've been telling people every year for at least the last 15 years that it snows every april here in the metro area. There was one year I was wrong. So your right it doesnt always snow in april but i will continue telling people that because its not a big surprise when it does.
I would like to see one of those "April in the D" renditions done with a band playing in a blizzard.
