Plans are chugging along for a street-level electric train that would run from Hart Plaza to Eight Mile Road. Engaging more Detroiters in the Woodward Avenue light rail transit project is the goal of a series of community forums starting this Wednesday in Palmer Park.
The official public hearings demonstrated great interest in this project, but also many unanswered questions. Transit advocates designed these neighborhood forums to provide residents plain language answers to some of their questions. The public is encouraged to participate in any of the upcoming forums:
