Our group is looking into a steam engine purchase right now, but one we would really like is Canadian Pacific 2929. 2929 is a 4-4-4 Jubilee type capable of 117 1/2 MPH!
Then all we'd need is for CN to abandon either the CASO or the Chatham sub so we could really pull that throttle open!
