You are kidding me, NR. First, how is that an issue in the above discussion? Second, what makes you think I cannot appreciate the vast contrast between GP and far east Detroit after a lifetime of living there or otherwise being deeply connected there. I am missing nothing, my friend.

For all the "discussion" about this, from my source at the Freep, Duggan ok'd the removal! Time to move on.

    It's called a ghetto and a neighborhood.

Yes, it seems like some sort of quid pro quo for the reopening of Kercheval, and perhaps a peace offering after the [[dead on, in my view) not very nice things Duggan had to say about the people now basically running GPP [[*ahem* Cotton family...).

If this finally goes some way towards repairing that relationship, then I can't be totally unhappy about it. But a whole bunch of people in Jefferson-Chalmers aren't going to be so pleased. And will continue to feel ignored and stepped on by GP, and sold out by the City administration.

Seems harsh! Please recall it was GPS finest who spray painted buildings downtown

JEBA didn't try to inhibit GPP's plans they paid for a commissioned study to maintain facades.
