These photos came to me in an email. Thought I'd share them here.


1st: Dec.15/1953 - The Detroit skyline.

2nd: Windsor Ford Motor Company Factory Staff 1907-08.

3rd: General view of the four former barrack locks which were transplanted from the old flying school at Windsor airport and which as being used as new classrooms by Assumption College. Taken from the Ambassador Bridge the four units will be connected and remodeled to accommodate hundreds of students. [[Recognize Assumption Church in background).

4th: Jan.11/1975-Old Mariners Church and "Tunnel to Canada" sign help pin-point the location of the renaissance development.

5th: May 1963 - Six lanes of traffic enter Canada at the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.

6th: Sept.6 1958-Detroit's new convention hall on the banks of the Detroit River is gradually taking shape. More than 19,000 tons of steel has gone into the project which will house the hall and exhibit building.
