well. The Madison theater sign is advertising "Tin Gods", and by doing a little googling, that movie came out in 1926.

That image looks more like the demo of the previous 5 story structure that predated the Broderick [[Eaton) Tower. What looks like plaster walls on the 2nd floor kind of gives this away.

Other clue: there's no scaffolding.

Does anyone remember how tall the CBC tower was? You can see it up Washington in that shot.

Nope, at the CBC station on Riverside drive. In the photo you can see 4 of the aircraft warning lights. There's still a portion of it left, maybe 120ft or so.
