These are developers of applications that run on the iphone, android, windows mobile, webos, symbian, and so on. Not bloggers-and-whatnot, who could work out of an RV or from the beach so long as they had an internet connection. Drat. Not for me.
This is a good, practical thing. Mobile app development is something you don't have to be local to anywhere in particular to do. It's probably not big business to make the next fart piano, but decent successes can generate enough $4.99 downloads to justify a job or two.
For some of us "addicts," wouldja pay a buck to have DY on your phone? I don't have a shiny iphone, but on my [[older) blackberry, this site doesn't even load.
Posted from the local public library , which is not the beach, unfortunately .
