I still remember the guy at the gate at the bottom telling me I had to be sure to have enough fuel as if I were going to travel 80 miles!

    Yikes is right. I used to work at heights, but started getting vertigo in my old age. I cannot even watch that Schwarzenegger movie with him and that horse on the roof. LOL

    I just saw a video...youtube I think.....of three guys base jumping off the Ren Cen. I was hyperventilating just watching that. Someone was holding the video while they were just standing two foot from the edge. Holy craped pants Batman.

    Lucky you. Chene Park and Belle Isle were some of my favorite spots in Detroit.
