Any suggestions for the best parking area when going for jury duty at Frank Murphy Hall of Justice?
Seems like there is always construction going on around there. Those one way streets don't help either.

1. Take the bus.
2. There is parking directly across the street.
3. If you are a cheapie, then you can park at the casino for free and walk 2 blocks. However, most cheapies will find the bus to be the less expensive option.
Is Greektown still closing their garage from 6 to 9 AM to all but their card-holders? Annunciation and Old St. Mary's both offer parking for cheap, too.
I parked directly across the street the first day....it was easy to find, etc. I was then seated on a jury, so learned of a few cheaper lots. Ended up in one farther south on Gratiot [[maybe at Brush?). I think it was $5 [[as opposed to $8).
I would park on Cobo Roof, then take the People Mover around to Greektown, and walk two blocks to the Murphy Hall of Justice.
Greektown garage is free to the public AFTER 9am, so if you can time it right, you can be at the court house by 9:05, just know that the elevators at the Murphy are slow and overcrowded, so depending on what floor you are on, it may take a while to get up there.
Other than that, I would suggest taking the bus. You'll end up wasting half of your pay on parking down there.
How much does it cost to park at Cobo?

cheapest option: "what jury notification?"
Park for free in the "main lot" off Russel [[closest lot to Gratiot) in Eastern Market and walk there. We always do for Tiger games. It will take you less than 10 minutes.
Street parking on Antietam and Gratiot.
I was on jury duty about a month ago. I got a ride. But I was surprised when my check came about a week after I finished.
