TY all....That was a simple box to make really....I appreciate your comments.....I loved the grain in that wood....To me,,that tree will always be alive tru all I made from it...I can take you to the stump where it was today....We wont be here forever,,as that tree,,but maybe a part of us,,and as that tree will be for generations on down...Thank you again....

I woke up in my downtown highrise and stared out the window a bit and thought, damn, I wish I could purchase a ton of wooded land and build a house from scratch. It's ironic I see these photos today. My grandfather was a carpenter and my dad had a woodshop so I spent alot of time building, but only lumber from the store. I'd really like to the learn skills you've shown above. The work must be incredibly rewarding. Your work is your own, start to finish.
